RPYGO ARGO - Regional Public Youth Greek Organization of Moscow.

RPYGO ARGO was founded at April, 2004. The main task of our organization is to serve the interests of youth. Pontian greeks could pass through severe Turkish occupation having kept their national consciousness, Orthodox belief, traditions. Some families could save the pontian language. Before us the greater road now reaches. And we shall try to go planned by the previous generations by.
In the modern world in increasing frequency besides unity of sights, representation about ethno cultural features which distinguish them, young Greeks should collide and with the general problems. On this the major purpose of the Organization ARGO is integration of youth, its dialogue, acquire and preservation of knowledge of the greatest heritage of Pontos, so allowing more and more to join treasures of the Greek world. It’s also maintenance of continuity between generations, realization of various joint programs, exchange of experience, cooperation between youth not only in Moscow, but also in Russia, and in all world.
Each of us can bring its own pebble in construction of our common cause. The great variety of lights of pontian culture is shone in thousands hearts worldwide. Life in different cities and countries involuntarily erases memory of it. And consequently integration of youth for an opportunity of joint creation and preservation of property of ancestors became very important.
